17 days to go...Some best wishes

.I found this lovely oil painting of an Indian Wedding by Shiela Nye (http://www.shela-nye.com) and thought it very fitting to put on this blog

Ok ,people .We need to cheer up..especially the bride and groom .Agreed , theres lot of work and tension and Visa problems but I hope you both are feeling estatic and looking forward to a very rosy future...Everything will be good .. and fine .Also one of the baraatis seems to have fallen sick .I hope Paro rani recovers in time and writes more lively blog entries. Her blog entry today sounded exhausted .
Meeting her today confirmed my apprehension .She is indeed not well and needs to rest :-(

Anyways.......

I also came across this poem today and it took me instantly to my state of mind when I was about to get married -There was hope , anticipation and happiness ...still is..always will be :-)

Here's to both of you

May your marriage bring you all the exquisite excitement marriage should bring,

and grant you patience, tolerance, and understanding.

May you need one another, but not out of weakness.May you want one another, but not out of lack.

May you entice one another, but not compel one another.May you embrace one another, but not out encircle one another.

May you succeed in all important ways with one another, and not fail in the little graces.

May you look for things to praise, often say, "I love you!"and take no notice of small faults.

May you enter into the mystery which is the awareness of one another's presence - no more physical than spiritual,

Warm and near when you areside by side, and warm and near whenyou are in separate roomsor even distant cities.

May you have happiness, and may you find it making one another happy.

May you have love, and may you find it loving one another
